Statement:

  This summer, 2012, I've been exploring new pigments, mediums and surfaces.With acrylic paint on canvas or board I've moved from my pallet, of traditional inorganic pigments to some of Golden paints "organic" colors, mixing them with new mediums, gloppy pastes and textures. For watercolors I've tried cold pressed paper instead of my usual hot pressed. Both are challenging. My summer images continue to be landscape vistas, and flowers. Plein aire is my preferred starting place.
